Are you passionate about making education accessible and meaningful for every learner? We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher who brings expertise, creativity, and compassion to the classroom.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven ability to deliver Maths, English, Science, and Vocational subjects
  • Recent experience in a SEND school, college, or specialist setting
  • Evidence of continuous professional development, ideally SEN-focused
  • Significant experience delivering Entry Level and Level 1 courses
  • A commitment to personalised, pupil-centred learning

Please note: This role is not suitable for NQTs/ECTs – the ideal candidate will have solid experience and confidence in SEND teaching.

Salary: Main Pay Scale + 1 SEN Point

Start date: February 2026

Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering learning activities to enable children and young people to enjoy learning, make progress and experience a sense of wellbeing.
  • Creating a positive learning environment, reflective of the school’s culture and ethos as set out in its curriculum purpose statement.
  • Leading a class team to provide outstanding teaching and learning for all children and young people.
  • Assessing, recording and reporting progress for children and young people within the class.
  • Preparing for and contributing to Person Centred Reviews.
  • Working in partnership with parents, colleagues and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
